Forthcoming "BakuBuild" 2007 exhibition

Since 2 to 5 October, 2007 "BakuBuild 2007" International Construction Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Baku. FURQAN Company is to participate at this exhibition as it did last year.

This time in comparison with the last year’s exhibition, the stand of FURQAN Company will be visited by more foreign representatives as its honorary guests that is a demonstration of growing interest to both the company itself and to its participation at the exhibition.

Last year there were present at the stand of the company honorary guests from Germany – an executive chief of the LAFARGE concern’s German head office on roofing systems – Mr. Manfred Corthobius and a representative of the concern’s office on the East European region – Mr. Ryszard Jedrzejczak. As it is known, FURQAN Company is an official distributor of KAMI ROOFING SYSTEMS – Swedish metal roof sheets manufacturer included in LAFARGE conglomerate.

What are reasons of FURQAN`s aspiration for participation at the exhibition? There are main contours of seeing this situation from viewpoint of participation in similar arrangements.

International, regional, sectoral and other exhibitions – first of all a bridge towards enlargement "alive" not mediated by TV and Press. And just an interactive way of establishing contacts is the tool among other marketing tricks that may play even a decisive role in reinforcing the company’s positions.

Participation at the exhibitions quite strongly differs from other types of advertisement by both particular opportunities and a volume of resources necessary for realization of these opportunities.

However, opportunities afforded by the exhibition change its particularities into advantages. Firstly, just at the exhibition a company and a potential client are on "the neutral territory" they voluntarily came and here interests more than "buy-sell" meet – here plans, mutually beneficial cooperation, etc. are considered. Contacts with necessary people, agents, firms are more easily established at exhibitions than in other business situations. Secondly, just at the exhibition the company is displayed best that means best impression. This impression may be initial for some visitors and accordingly forming notion about the company though for the first time. Thirdly, many things and ideas may be perceived by implication and immediately at the exhibition. New clients and rivals may be known. Tendencies on both local markets and the foreign markets may be felt. At the exhibitions there are opportunities to have talks and be seen before majority and by this to strengthen own recognizability that can greatly extend.
